Description:  After having two children and getting back to her baseline weight, this patient had excess fat deposition in her lower back, hips, and upper buttocks. She desired to narrow and contour her waist areas. She underwent tumescent liposuction of the lower and mid back by Dr. Lu concentrating on her areas of excess. 3000cc (milliliters) of fat were removed. She also had an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) at the same time to tighten her front. She went from a size 8 to a size 4 in pants and is very happy with her more hourglass figure and the correction of the “muffin top.” Her waistline is no longer wider than her hips and thighs.
